Sai Ram to all of you!
Here is a good news on the eve of 80th Birthday of our beloved
Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Ever since new Andhra Pradesh State
govt. has appointed Smt. Geeta Reddy as a Tourism Minister she being
a Sai Devotee, has announced various plans to upgrade many
facilities for the benefit of thousands of devotees visiting
Prasanthi Nilayam Town ship. Today in the Press Reports she has
spoken about Air Services, Mini Buses, Meditation centre etc. Below
is the report for all devotees to share the joy of the new things
coming to Puttaparthi.
"Air services soon from
Puttaparthi"
Puttaparthi, July 31: Tourism Minister J Geeta Reddy said that steps
would be taken to provide regular air services from Puttaparthi for
the convenience of devotees.
Speaking to reporters here on Saturday, she said that discussion
were on with the Air Deccan Company on the issue.
Air Services to Hyderabad, Chennai, Vizag and Mumbai
The minister said that steps would be taken to provide
Puttaparthi-Hyderabad, Puttaparthi-Mumbai, Puttaparthi-Chennai and
Puttaparthi-Vizag air services.
Geeta Reddy said that steps would also be taken to establish a TTD
information centre here and give Sudarsanam tokens for the
convenience of devotees going to Tirumala for darshan of Balaji.
She said that she had spoken to TTD chairman T Subbirami Reddy on
the issue and obtained his permission.
She said that a meditation centre, children’s park and library would
be established in 6.5 acre in Puttaparthi.
The minister said that a stall will be opened to sell Kashmiri
products and leather products of the State at Puttaparthi.
The minister said that steps would be taken to run mini buses among
Puttaparthi, Lepakshi and Thimmama-marri Manu in the district.
She said that a package tour would also be started in Puttaparthi.
High Court Chief Justice Devinder Gupta visited Puttaparthi and had
darshan of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. District Collector Anuradha,
District Judge Bhaskara Rao, Hindupur ADJ Narasimhulu and others
welcomed him at guest house in Prasanthi Nilayam.
