LUCKNOW: Sri Sathya Seva Samiti, Lucknow in
association with Lucknow Nagar Nigam and the police
department has undertaken the social responsibility of
free cremation of unclaimed bodies.
Presently, the police department make arrangements for
cremation of unclaimed bodies. Sri Sathya Sai Seva
Samiti has obtained coupons of electric crematorium
from the nagar nigam after depositing the required
money.
These prepaid coupons were formally handed over to the
SP (City) by the district president of the Lucknow
Samiti at Hari Om Mandir on November 23 last. These
coupons will be issued to the police for the cremation
of unclaimed bodies.
