Satya Sai Baba’s birthday celebrated

JAMMU, Nov 23: The 76th birth birthday of Sri Satya Sai Baba was celebrated with fervour and enthusiasm, here today. Sai Baba is held in high esteem by devotees across the country as well as in Jammu and Kashmir.

A large number of devotees participated in the celebrations organised by Sri Satya Sai Seva Organisation at Parshoram Bhawan, Brahmin Sabha, Jammu.

Celebrations started with chanting of Vedic Shalokas by children. Bhajans were sung on the occasion.

Mr Shiv Kumar Sharma is state co-ordinator of the Sin Satya Sai Seva Organisation while Mr S P Virdi is its spiritual co-ordinator. Dr M L Sharma and Mr Fateh Singh stated that this organisation in addition to arranging such celebrations and spreading message of Satya Sai Baba, it has also been undertaking some welfare works too.

Earlier, Sai devotees took out parbhat pheri through the main bazars of Jammu city.
