This debate aims to promote the practice of human values. Organised by
the Sathya Sai Baba Centres of Perak, it is
open to all university, college and
sixth-form students in Perak between the
ages of 18 and 25. There is no participation
fee. The debate will be conducted in English
and will use the Australasian format.
Competition begins in the first week
of July, with the Grand Finals on July 10.
There are monetary prizes, a challenge
shield and certificates to be won.
Conditions of participation: all
participants will have to join in a one-day
service project at the Handicapped
Children’s Home, Batu Gajah on July 3.
Participants from each debating team must
also represent at least two of the major
ethnic groups in Malaysia.
