Again I am quoting : Prof. Anil Kumar's talk recently, that Bhagawan
Baba is like an intercontinental bank wherein we can draw any number
of cheques! He will always come to our support. Once when Prof. Anil
Kumar made this statement in front of Bhagawan, Swami asked him to
repeat the line. So Prof. Anil Kumar said, 'Swami will always
support us". To this Bhagawan replied, "Not just support
you, He will come and literally lift you up!" That is our sweet and
merciful Lord!
As Bhagawan told, Bhagawan himself came and showed literally lifted
everyone of us by providing Drinking Water to the people who lives
in a remote place near Attipattu Village (near Ennore) in
Thiruvallur District, where there is no water in their area and
they are going and getting water from 2 kilo meter distance at the
cost of Rs.2 per kudam/bucket. Its all happened in just weeks time.
We have been doing activities such as Medical Facility, Cloth
Distribution, Narayana Seva, Providing Food materials and other
cooking materials regularly at costal areas near Ennore,
Pazhaverkadu area since 26th December 2004 when Tsunami hit against
costal people. So far we have covered Sattankuppam and Thorakkuppam
Near Pazhaverkadu and kuppams located near Ennore Thermal Power
Station. On our way we found a place 5 to 6 Kilometer away from
Attipattu, where 72 families (Old, Young and Children's) living in a
huts where there is no Electricity, Water, Road etc. All of them are
fishermen who does fishing from nearby river and selling the same
for their livelihood. There conditions are very poor and their
children's don't go to school and don't take bath also frequently.
Our Ennore Samithi Convenor Mr.Rajendran and its team found this
place and understood fully their request and needs. Immediately he
contacted us Mr.V.Narayanan - District Youth Wing Leader and me.
Immediately we all of us said we should do something to alleviate
their problem, most important in that is Water Problem, so we should
dig a well or bore for them to get good water. Swami will also feel
very happy, if we could able to provide Water to these people.
Accordingly Mr.Rajendran and its Team from Ennore Samithi, they
surveyed the place and initiated our interest only last week
Wednesday or so, immediately they put into action by putting bore in
that area and saw divine grace of Water coming up on Friday. They
installed pump to get Water and everything was completed by
Saturday. It was also named as "Sri Sathya Sai Drinking Water
Scheme" and Inaugurated on Sunday, 27th February 2005 by our
Dr.A.Mohan Chandra Babu, District President - Sri Sathya Sai Seva
Organisation, Thiruvallur District. All the family members who lives
their were in ecstasy and we could able see joyfulness in their
faces.
Further one more interesting thing was people who lives in that area
does not have name for that place to call, local people himself
suggested and asked us to give name for this area. Immediately we
all suggested and Swami himself came to this place as one of the
essentials in 5 Elements which was Water. So we will name this place
as "Sri Sathya Sai Nagar" Accordingly we have name it as "Sri Sathya
Sai Nagar" and everybody in that Village showed their happiness by
applause and called their Village as "Sri Sathya Sai Nagar".
We too were very much delighted to see all these events and the way
in which it takes form.
After all these formal Inauguration, we have started our Medical
Camp with a Team of Doctors (Dr.A.Alavandar, Dr.B.Nagaraju and
Dr.S.Manikandan) assisted by Team from Korattur and Ambattur Samithi
headed by Mr.Krishnakumar, who is ever ready to help the needy for
giving Medical Facility at any point of time. allthe people who
lives here in Sri Sathya Sai Nagar (235 in Numbers) tookthis
opportunity and took required medicines very patiently. They are not
patient but they showed their patience very nicely.
Distribution of Cloths such as Sarees, Shirts and childrens dress
materials, Plastic Mats and Lungi etc. It was very well planned by
Ennore Samithi Members headed by Mr.Shanmugam and Team. They tookall
details from families living their and packed things separately for
eachfamilies and gave token to each family members. Here also all
the familymembers of Sri Sathya Sai Nagar showed their serenity and
took their packone by one without any agitation.
Last but not least is Narayana Seva is arranged nicely by Ennore
Samithi Members. Food was provided to all the Villagers including
our Doctors and Members. Everyone's stomach and heart filled with
Lots of Bliss. Here we all experienced our Swami's Message "Not just
supported us, He came and literally lifted us up!" That is our sweet
and merciful Lord!.
Persons names I have mention above is very little, there are
enormous instruments were behind the screen and demonstrated their
Love in Action (this is the message of our Beloved Swami's 80th
Birthday Year) are also blessed by our Beloved Bhagawan Sri Sri Sri
Sathya Sai Baba Varu - God of this Universe.
Duty without love is deplorable.
Duty with love is desirable.
Love without duty is Divine. - BABA
