The only method which you can adopt to escape from the
coils of mind is the
cultivation of pure intelligence. This is sum and
substance of all spiritual
discipline.
He who has got Sai’s name on his lip is a jeevanmukta (liberated
one in this
life itself), because continuos remembrance of SAI
eliminates the ego sense
and grants him the realization of his immortal changeless
self.

STORY FOR THIS WEEK
THE PURNAVATARAS
According to the Indian conception, the Lord Vishnu has so
far descended
incarnate in nine forms, UNTIL THE CURRENT SHRI SATYA SAI
BABA THE
YUGAVATARA.
3. VARAHA
The pig incarnation. The two former incarnations depicted
the progress of
man from sea food to the agricultural produce. This Varaha
incarnation goes
a step further. It organizes land armies to denude the
land mass of its
excess water and makes it profitable for man to grow more
food. Pig is a
mammal and wants more and more food for it’s growing
population.
The story of this incarnation in the Puranas is that the
earth was getting
submerged in water and so God came in the form of a pig
and balanced the
earth on its teeth. The teeth represent the ploughshare.
The simple meaning
is that more cultivable land was made available for man to
exploit.
Another aspect of this incarnation is that the demon king
Hiranyaksha one
pointed attention to wealth was propagating the idea that
Vishnu is dead God
is dead. Our aim should be pure enjoyment regardless of
what happens to
other peace loving populace. This Varaha Varan hanti iti
Varaha killer of
the greatest of them all. This leader organized a revolt
against those
swollen headed materialists advocating eat drink and be
merry for tomorrow
we die. Enjoy this life by hook or crook for there is no
future birth.
